One person, five disciplines that keep feeding each other. I write software, build competition robots, model in 3D, coach the next generation of roboticists, and shoot film. This page is the whole picture, not the résumé version of it.
The biggest thing I have built: a full competition platform for 3D modellers. Contestants sign up, submit their models to the running contest, and watch the standings move as submissions are accepted. Monthly champion, overall ranking, bilingual from the ground up.
Seven seasons inside the RobotGenio robotics club, first as a competitor, then as the coach. The teams I have worked with have taken national titles in MakeX, put the club on the national podium in RoboCup Rescue Line, and won a Latin American student science and technology prize. Coaching is where the engineering gets tested hardest: the robot has to work in a child's hands, on a strange field, on the day.
Under @vibraldi I shoot and cut film, and I have taken awards at national cinema competitions. Lighting, blocking and pacing turn out to obey the same instinct as mechanism design: decide what the audience should notice, then remove everything that competes with it.
Most of what I can do, I learned from material somebody published for nothing. So GaryBricks3D teaches professional 3D CAD in Spanish, and the blog carries the long algorithm write-ups I wanted while training for the Informatics Olympiad.
Collaborations, robots, films, or a question about a tutorial. Every one of these reaches me.
